MARKETING OFFICER- KINSHASA, DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF CONGO (DRC)

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Career Options Africa Group is a HR Consultancy firm specialising in Recruitment, HR outsourcing and Immigration support in Africa with offices in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Burundi, Nigeria, South Africa and South Sudan.
Our client, international trade company that specializes in sourcing high-quality materials from South America and Europe and delivering them to clients across South East Asia is looking for a Marketing Officer to be based in DRC.
THE JOB
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in marketing within the FMCG sector, with 5 to 10 years of relevant experience. The key duty will be to develop and implement effective marketing strategies to drive brand awareness and sales growth.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES.
• Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to drive brand awareness and sales growth.
• Conduct market research to identify consumer trends, preferences, and competitive landscape.
• Plan and execute marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, print, and social media.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive and integrated marketing efforts.
• Manage and optimize the marketing budget to achieve maximum ROI.
• Analyze campaign performance and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.
• Oversee the creation of marketing materials, including brochures, advertisements, and
• promotional content.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and
• media.
QUALIFICATIONS
The job holder should have the following qualifications.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration preferred.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on the FMCG sector.
• Proven track record of successful marketing campaigns and brand management.
• Strong knowledge of marketing principles, strategies, and best practices.
• Proficiency in marketing software and tools, including CRM systems and analytics platforms.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in both French and English is preferred.
• Male candidates are highly recommended to apply.
